I have extensive experience in clinical practice and consultation in diverse settings, including:
- Community Mental Health Center
- Hospital for adolescents suffering with addiction, where I developed the family program
- National company providing employee assistance (EAP) programs, where I provided educational seminars as well as management training and consultations.
My approach to my clients is with acceptance and cultural sensitivity. I believe it is crucial to understand the past in an effort to move forward. The therapeutic process involves identifying strengths as well as defenses, distortions, self-blame and negative thoughts and behaviors.
